PRX T-33 Peel

What is

PRX T-33 Peel?

The Bio-Revitalizaion Facial with PRX-T33 peel is made up of a combination of TCA (trichloroacetic acid) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). The PRX-T33 biorevitalization peel is an innovative technique of TCA peel that stimulates the regeneration of the skin without involving exfoliation of the epidermis. How does it work?

PRX T-33 has a special innovative formula that combines the positive effects of these three components into one product:

HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (H202) 33% TRICHLOROACETIC ACID (TCA) 5% KOJIC ACID

H2O2 Is a substance that occurs naturally in cells, which are able to synthesize it. Scientifi c studies have shown that LOW CONCENTRATIONS of H2O2:
  • promote the healing of wounds
  • help remodel the extracellular matrix
  • regulate inflammation
TCA Is a chemical agent that has long been used for peeling and treating damaged skin.

Kojic acid Is an effective skin-whitener and depigmenting agent. It plays an important role in inhibiting the post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation that can occur in susceptible individuals

Scientific studies have shown that applying TCA to the skin leads to an increase in a pro-hormone called Pro-opiomelanocortin1 (POMC) on the skin. At an acidic pH, POMC is cut by enzymes at the level of the Golgi apparatus2 creating different types of molecules which can lead to: an intense dermal stimulation, proliferation of keratinocytes and fibroblasts, an increase in cell turnover, better barrier effect, neocollagenogenesis
